Install Ofuda and make your first widget.

Ofuda is a visual editor for your own now playing widget. You design it in Ofuda, Ofuda reads what's playing on your computer, and OBS shows the widget through a link.

Install Ofuda

Ofuda runs on Windows 10 and 11. Download the installer from this website and start it. The installer is not signed with a Windows certificate yet, so Windows may show a blue SmartScreen window: click More info, then Run anyway.

Make your first design

1. Click New design on the home page.
2. Add shapes, text, the cover, a progress bar or audio levels from the toolbar at the top. Each one is a layer, listed on the left.
3. Select a layer to change it on the right: size, colours, fonts, effects. Everything is saved as you go.

Put it on stream

In the editor, or from the design's menu on the home page, choose Show on stream. Every design on stream has its own link, which you add to OBS as a browser source. How to add it to OBS.
